Where is my orkut profile ? :)
Is something wrong with orkut today? When I checked in the morning first I got the site maintenance page. After a while I got the screen shot below. it Says “Your profile is temporarily unavailable. Your data will be restored in 24 to 48 hours. Please, try again later. Sorry for the inconvenience.”
I just hope orkut is not messing up with my data.

Orkut developer blog dont say anything about the maintenance as well. Any one else facing this problem?

Just came across this thread in the orkut help group http://groups.google.com/group/orkut-system-alerts/msg/d87dce8dfb2da422 . Hopefully I will get all my data back :-/
Something strange happened with my account yesterday. My personal profile was switched with someone else’s and the same thing happened to several other accounts. It looked exactly like someone had messed up the relational database. Today I got the same message “Your profile is temporarily unavailable. Your data will be restored in 24 to 48 hours. Please, try again later. Sorry for the inconvenience.”
I though i got hacked or something like that. They changed my name, my picture, my city, and they started to delete my scraps. When i saw that, i changed the password fast. Dunno what they’re doing, but i wish they fix this fast
Yeah, had the same thing – my personal info was switched with someone from Brazil. Was a good wakeup call, since I renewed my passwords and stuff – just in case you guys could do it also, even tho it didn´t have anything to do with it
Seems there was a glitch in the database – just thank god that albums\testimos\friends weren´t deleted and only information.

yes, it has happened to me also, I live in Brazil and the same as RayRay happened to me.
unfortunately I forgot to change my password, I’ll be doing it as soon as I can.
